column_characterization.calculate_precipitate_displacement(graph_obj)

Calculate the ration between the number of columns in the precipitate and the number of columns in the FCC it displaces.

column_characterization.calculate_precipitate_packing(graph_obj)

Calculate the precipitate packing fraction, assuming the precipitate is correctly identified.

This method is only well defined for images that fully enclose the precipitate.
